We arrange insurance for Touring and Off Road Caravans, Camper Trailers, Motorhomes, Camper Vans, Fifth Wheelers, Slide On Units, On Site Caravans snd Relocatable Homes including the Contents and Personal Effects.
We also arrange and manage insurance for clients who have sold their home and their caravan/motorhome is their travelling home
The CIL policies have been designed to protect the caravan/motorhome owner against many of the unexpected and additional costs they may incur when their caravan is damaged, particularly whilst on tour.

OUTLINE OF POLICY COVER
|
|
In addition to loss or damage to the caravan caused by accident, theft or attempted theft, fire, storm, flood, malicious damage, hail, cyclones, the CIL policy we arrange includes:

The reasonable cost to remove the caravan to be repaired and stored following an accident where it cannot be towed.

Emergency repairs required to allow the caravan to be towed following an accident, where approved by the insurer.

Alternative Temporary accommodation costs incurred whilst
the caravan is undergoing repair following an accident, with specific limit where the caravan is not your usual home and ahigher limit applies where the caravan is your usual home.

The cost of returning the caravan to your residence, if you become ill or suffer a personal injury rendering you incapable (medically certified) to continue driving.

Where your towing vehicle is involved in an accident, and cannot be used to continue touring, the policy pays the cost of returning the caravan to your residence, even when the caravan is not attached to the towing vehicle at the time of the accident. ie, whilst in caravan park.

TRAVELING AUSTRALIA WIDE - NO FIXED ADDRESS - NO PROBLEM
|
|
Where you are planning an extensive tour of Australia, possibly having sold your residence, with the caravan being your home, you should to consider the value of your personal belongings and contents inside your caravan. The automatic $1,000 cover can be increased to a higher amount as $1000 cover is totally inadequate where you may have $15-$20,000 value on board.
In selling your home, you may no longer have liability cover where you cause personal injury or damage to property of others anywhere in Australia. This is normally included in a house/contents insurance policy. The CIL Caravan/Motorhome policy we arrange includes Personal Liability anywhere in Australia where the insured is not covered by another existing home or contents insurance policy in their name.
Often couples/partners travelling together do not own a home, they may be exposed to potential liability claims which can occur anywhere whilst on tour. This Personal Liability is included in the policy we arrange.

ON SITE CARAVANS
|
|
We arrange cover for owners of On Site Caravans including fixed structural improvements ie fixed hard walled annexe, tropical roof, carport where they are attached to the On Site Caravan. The policy includes the contents and personal effects, electrical motor burnout, Liability as owner/occupier of the Caravan including Personal Liability anywhere in Australia where the insured is not covered by another existing home or contents insurance policy in their name.
It is a concern, that so many owners of On Site Caravans do not have On Site Caravan Insurance and are exposed to potential liability claims that can occur from a fire or an accident causing bodily injury to others or loss of or damage to property of others.

This excellent and informative DVD will increase your Caravanning knowledge and skills.
